Q:

How can I control Bluetooth ® from within my own application?

A:

Windows Mobile provides integrated support for the Bluetooth protocol. You can use the well-documented Windows CE Bluetooth API to implement the desired functionality. Beside of the Microsoft Bluetooth API you can also work with the CASIO Bluetooth Library that is common for all CASIO devices running Windows CE. If you want to use the CASIO Bluetooth Library you will need an additional runtime library on your device. It is provided as add-on of the SDK. Please note, that the APIs are not intended to be used concurrently.

Q:

Can I use more than one connection at the same time?

A:

You can work with more than one connection at time, e.g. GPS (serial connection) and handsfree car kit (headset/handsfree profile).

Q:

Can I redirect all audio output to Bluetooth?

A:

Windows CE supports the Bluetooth Hands Free Profile Audio Gateway (AG).  This profile allows you to use a Bluetooth headset or car kit as a hands free (HF) device. Using IOCTL_AG_OPEN_AUDIO and IOCTL_AG_CLOSE_AUDIO from Win32 API you can allow all system audio to use your BT HF instead of the default system speaker/mic. Please refer to MSDN for further details.
