Here you can find driver software and solutions for data exchange. Please select what you need from the list at the left.

Q:

Windows Vista / Windows 7 or later

A:

For Windows Embedded CE and Windows Mobile you need synchronization software for your PC. Microsoft ActiveSync was replaced by Windows Mobile Device Center (WMDC) under Windows Vista and Windows 7. Instead of WMDC you can use CASIO LMWin as well.

Connection PC Terminal
Direct USB Cable / USB Cradle Driver comes with WMDC. No additional driver required. If you want to use LMWin without WMDC, you will find the driver in the LMWin package.

Operation mode (WMDC or LMWin) must be selected on the terminal.
USB patch required for some terminals.

IrDA Cradle (USB or Serial) Special IrDA driver required. The driver comes only with the LMWin package. No patch required.

Q:

Casio LMWin

A:

With the synchronization software "LMWin" you can exchange files between mobile device and PC. But that is not all. Furthermore you have access to enhanced functionality to administer your terminal. You can call those functions either from within your own application by API or by means of simple script files from PC.

LMWin is available not only for devices driven by Windows CE, but also for other models of our product range.

Q:

Casio LMWin Communication Settings

A:

Through "Configure" you can select the connection between PC and mobile device. Generally speaking you will select "USB", while "B.S/B.B(IOBOX)" stands for the IrDA cradle (e.g. DT-X11 or IT-3100).

You settings will be saved and available at the next launch of LMWin, if you activate the command "Set As Default". Alternatively, you can edit all settings in the configuration file of LMWin directly. For further details refer to the LMWin Manual, please.

Q:

Casio LMWin Script Files

A:

LMWin offers a lot of commands. You can pick certain commands and put them into a list, called script file. As soon as a mobile device gets connected to LMWin, all commands from the list will be executed one by one. In order to create and edit script files LMWin comes with its own editor.

By using script files you can implement data synchronization and administration for your mobile devices without the need for own development.
