Q:

Memory

A:

Memory is divided into Flash-ROM and RAM. Files can be saved to Flash-ROM (~30 MB FLASHDISK) and RAM (Storage Memory). The other part of RAM is reserved for program execution (Program Memory).

Q:

Memory Division

A:

Memory division can be adjusted at START, SETTINGS, CONTROL PANEL, "System".

Q:

Backup

A:

For generating or reading a back up file use the Backup Tool under START, PROGRAMS, UTILITY. In this context please pay attention to the configuration files for the scanner and WLAN.
If you want to have the backup file restored automatically after a hard reset, use the RESTORE.EXE instead of the Backup Tool. You can find it in the Windows directory.

Q:

Copy Devices

A:

The Copy Devices utility is explained in more detail in our Software Manual. On the master device close all other running applications before you execute the utility. Copy Devices does not necessarily delete already existing files on the target device. Therefore, reset the target device to default settings first.
